Closet sales training

Nobody shares a room more honestly than a closet. The appointment is a design conversation measured in hanging space and morning arguments — and it is decided, always, by both people who use it. Spar trains closet reps on the documented system, where the no one-leggers doctrine is simply a description of the product.

The system

One playbook, run in order

The appointment runs the 7 steps in order: Entry, Warm-Up, Probing & Layering, Presentation, Pre-Close, Close, Button-Up. Probing & Layering in a closet is inventory with feelings attached: whose side overflows, what the floor pile is made of, the work clothes, the dresses, the shoes that live in the hallway because there is nowhere honest to put them.

The presentation draws the space while they watch — which is where the Franklin T Close earns its place in this trade: their reasons, in their words, on paper, next to the design that answers them. At this size of decision, a list both partners wrote beats a pitch either one heard.

And the warm-up runs double here: two tastes, two priorities, one investment conversation. The documented system builds both relationships before it builds the number — overall investment, monthly investment plan, approve, move forward — so the decision the couple makes is one they both made.

Warm-Up: two people, one closet

The documented Warm-Up is where a closet rep learns which partner cares about the shoes and which one cares about the mornings. That knowledge is not small talk — it is the map the presentation gets drawn from, and it only exists if both decision makers are in the room.

Warm-up is graded on every Spar round. See how Fight Camp works.

Training by trade

One system, every trade

The playbook does not change with the product — the door pitch, the 7 steps, the objection framework, and the twelve closes run in every in-home trade. Spar trains all of them:
