Initial Visit Close

Create a logical reason to move forward today. The Initial Visit Close puts two investments on the proposal — and explains, honestly, why today’s is lower.

When it runs

At the investment presentation, on the first visit

The Initial Visit Close lives at the moment the numbers come out. It is not introduced early and it is not a threat — it is an investment structure explained before the homeowner sees a single figure, so the two investments on the proposal make sense when they land.

Set the condition before you present the numbers: explain how the investment is built, that the long-term figure carries long-term uncertainty inside it, and that homeowners who are motivated to get the project handled sooner are rewarded with an Initial Visit Discount. Then let the numbers breathe — and ask for the business.

What it is

Two investments, one proposal

The proposal shows a long-term investment and an initial-visit investment. The long-term figure is presented first, and it is higher for a stated reason: a project sold for 30, 60, or 90 days out carries uncertainty that has to be built in. The initial-visit figure removes that uncertainty because the project can move into production now.

That is what makes the urgency logical instead of manufactured. Nothing disappears in a panic and nothing is invented — the homeowner can see both numbers, see why they differ, and decide with the reasoning in front of them.

  • Put both investments on the proposal — never quote the low figure and hide the other.
  • Present the long-term investment first, then the initial-visit investment.
  • Never introduce the Initial Visit Discount too early — it explains the numbers, not the product.
  • Let the numbers breathe. Then ask for the business.
  • Never destroy the initial-visit investment later by caving — the structure only works if it is real.
The language — documented
“So for homeowners who are motivated to get their project handled sooner rather than later, we reward that by offering an Initial Visit Discount.”
“If you’re motivated to get the project handled now, there’s an additional financial advantage available to you.”

Where it fits

One system, twelve closes

The Initial Visit Close pairs naturally with the Option Close — two investments, presented as clear ways to move forward. It is one of the twelve closes drilled in Spar Fight Camp.

Every close on this page is taught from Frankie J’s documented training — the same system Spar grades against in live AI sparring rounds. Read the full library on The Twelve Closes, see how the closes sit inside the 7-step system, and drill this one until it is reflex with a Spar membership.

Reading about a close is not the same as running it against a homeowner who pushes back. Spar is the AI sparring partner built on Frankie J’s exact system — live voice rounds, graded against the playbook, for $29/month. Spar before you knock.
