Privacy Policy

What we collect
When you join Spar or use the training at askspar.com or in the Spar app, we collect what the membership needs to run: your email address; a display name if you choose one (and your trade and state, if you add them to your profile); and your training record — the rounds you play, the full transcripts of those rounds (your words and the AI homeowner's replies), your scores and scorecards, and your progress through the training path. If you use Driveway Radar, we also keep the property addresses you look up (see below). We keep basic login and security records (such as failed login attempts) to protect accounts.
Voice rounds
When you talk instead of type, the app records your voice and sends the clip to Deepgram, which turns it into text for the round. We do not store the audio itself — only the words, as part of your round transcript. The homeowner's spoken replies are generated from text using Deepgram's voice service.
AI sparring
Your sparring rounds are played and graded by an AI. The text of a round is sent to Anthropic, our AI provider, to generate the homeowner's replies and your scorecard.
Driveway Radar
Property addresses you enter are sent to RentCast to pull property details. Your lookup history is kept for 90 days and then automatically deleted, and you can delete any lookup yourself on the Radar page at any time.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares limited billing details with us (such as payment status) so we can manage your membership.
Login links and account emails are delivered through Resend.
Analytics
On the website we use privacy-respecting analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count visits and see which pages get used. This does not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell your information. The app loads fonts from Google Fonts.
How we use it
To provide and improve the training, run your membership, send account and login emails, and respond when you contact us. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it, and your controls
Your training record (rounds, transcripts, scores) is kept while your account exists, so your report cards and progress stay available to you. In the members area, under Account → Your Data, you can see what is stored, delete individual rounds and their transcripts, and delete your account entirely — deleting your account cancels your membership and erases your rounds, transcripts, and Radar lookups. You can also ask us to correct or delete your personal information at any time by emailing [email protected].
