Kitchen sales training

The kitchen appointment is the heavyweight of in-home selling — a design dream, weeks of living without a stove hanging over it, and one of the largest investments a household ever approves, decided at a table that sits inside the project itself. It is still an in-home appointment, and it still runs one system. Spar trains kitchen reps on Frankie J’s documented playbook — no invented design scripts.

The system

One playbook, run in order

Run the 7 steps in order — Entry, Warm-Up, Probing & Layering, Presentation, Pre-Close, Close, Button-Up — and resist the gravity of the room: everyone wants to jump to finishes and figures. The system earns the number by building the decision first, piece by piece, with trial closes testing the temperature the whole way through.

Probing & Layering is where kitchen appointments are won. The first answer is the surface — more counter space, nicer cabinets. Underneath it sits the real motive the documented layering questions exist to find: the holiday cooking that overflows this kitchen every year, the parent moving in, the house they plan to sell into a better street. Each layer changes what the presentation has to prove.

At this size, language discipline is not decoration. The overall investment and the monthly investment plan, approve and move forward, commitment before any number moves — and both decision makers at the table, because a kitchen is never decided by half a household. Spar scores every round against exactly that.

Probing & Layering: the kitchen under the kitchen

Layering in a kitchen means going past the wish list to the life the kitchen has to hold — who cooks, who gathers, what the current room refuses to let them do. Each answer becomes a presentation point and, when the number lands, a reason it makes sense.

The layering questions are drilled in Fight Camp until asking the next one is reflex. See how Fight Camp works.

Training by trade

One system, every trade

The playbook does not change with the product — the door pitch, the 7 steps, the objection framework, and the twelve closes run in every in-home trade. Spar trains all of them:

Objection deep dives

The 18 objections, in kitchen appointments

Eighteen objections decide most appointments. Each one, handled in a kitchen setting with the documented framework:

Scenario drills

The kitchen moments, drilled as rounds

Two of Spar’s documented situation rounds, run in kitchen settings — the setup, what each round trains, and how the scorecard grades it:

Warm up before the next appointment

Spar runs the appointment before the appointment — live AI sparring graded against the documented system, in the truck, for $29/month. Spar before you knock.
